Any wedding that has white pumpkins, a view of the Chesapeake Bay and multiple bars set up under the reception tent is our kind of wedding! We loved being part of Steven and Taylor’s big day on Gwynn’s Island! This sweet couple met when they were still in high school and took their first trip together here at Taylor’s family vacation home. So we were happy to help transform this familiar place into the wedding venue Steven and Taylor have always dreamed it could be! Our Rustic Wooden Arbor was the centerpiece of this ceremony set-up and we don’t think Steven and Taylor could have picked a better piece for this purpose!
With it’s rustic wooden texture and organic angles this piece stunned as a ceremony arbor! We also love that it doesn’t distract from the sprawling views of the Chesapeake Bay behind it!
The gorgeous florals by Flowers Make Scents dress up the corners of our Rustic Wooden Arbor just beautifully!
Our Appomattox Sofa also played a wonderful role in this couple’s big day! With it’s gorgeous curves, white button tufted upholstery and dark wood carvings this piece makes a perfect prop for portraits and of course #flowersonchairs!
And the Rustic Wooden Arbor got into the photo session too – how gorgeous does it look framing Taylor’s Urban Set Bride gown?
The Appomattox Sofa also made its way into the reception space where it served as lovely sweetheart seating situated right along the dance floor.
Our Barrel Bars worked wonderfully as food display pieces and helped the rustic vibes from the ceremony transition into the reception space!
Our Lodge Bar also added a beautiful and rustic touch when it came to beverage service!
Our Round Barrel Table served as a wonderfully rustic option for Steven and Taylor’s dessert display!
