We’re known for our vast collection of speciality and vintage rentals at Paisley & Jade. From weddings, to indie films, to trade shows and conferences, clients across the MidAtlantic come to us for just the right piece. And if that piece doesn’t exist? We make it.

From custom paint jobs, to wallpaper application, to the construction of a brand new piece, our multi-talented team is ready to turn your sketch into reality. Here are a few of our favorite customizations from 2024 to get your creative ideas flowing.

Bars

Bars are some of our most customized furniture pieces because they are often a statement of the reception space. Our inventory includes square, round, and oval shapes, both with and without trim, which can be combined to make so many unique sizes and shapes for your bar.

For this event, a bright coat of neon paint and free-standing chandeliers hanging above turned our full round bar into a focal point of the patio reception.

A sage green paint job and custom wallpaper application inside the trim also helped this custom oval bar make a delicate statement that contributed to the wedding reception’s vibe without overwhelming the space.

Painting the bar base one color and the trim another is one of our favorite ways to customize a bar. In this case, the pale blue trim drew attention to the classic lines of our Shadowbox Bar, giving an updated, modern look to otherwise traditional details.

Monograms are another traditional detail that we love including on our furniture rentals. For this outdoor cocktail hour space, adding wallpaper to the sides of the oval bar and the couple’s custom monogram in the middle was a wonderful way to create a visual centerpiece.

If you are having custom stationery created for your wedding or event, a custom bar can be an idyllic way to display that artistry. The white monogram on our custom-painted black bar really makes a statement.

Back Bars

For the same reason a bar can be a visual focus at your event, so can a back bar. These are often fully custom pieces that begin with bookshelves or a similar structure, and are painted or wallpapered to make a statement. Pairing the back bar with unique lighting, like our Rattan Sconces, creates an lived-in look that can transform an outdoor tent or vast ballroom into an intimate and cozy space.

Stage Fronts

Stages are almost always a custom job because of varying stage sizes and heights. Whether you’re planning on having a party band at your wedding, or speakers at your conference, our customizable stage facades will draw attention away from wires and scaffolding, and instead become a gorgeous place to display florals or your logo.

Escort Walls

Last but certainly not least, we can’t forget about escort card displays. In the past few years, escort cards and their accompanying displays have taken one of the most drab elements of a seated event and turned them into something fabulous. We love seeing what our clients dream up!

For this wedding, we transformed our 6-foot freestanding panel with a black-and-white checkerboard paint job into the perfect canvas for a calligraphy heading and tidy groupings of table assignments.

Escort card display

The customizations went even further for this wedding escort display when we added a custom lattice construction and monogram on top of our 8-foot freestanding wall. It became the perfect place for this client’s stationer to hang each guest’s escort card from a delicate ribbon.
