Monumental Church is such gorgeous part of Richmond’s history. The building is one of America’s earliest Greek Revival Churches and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is also a National Historic Landmark. It was designed by Robert Mills who was the first American-born professional architect and studied under Thomas Jefferson. Mills may be most famous for his design of The Washington Monument. We love this historic venue and are proud it has a home in RVA!
