We love getting our creative juices flowing here at #highpointandmoore! One of our favorite ways to do that is by taking a traditional idea and turning it on its head! In today’s inspiration station we decided to do a vintage meets modern take on what can be a super traditional holiday staple…the Christmas Tree! To start this design we decided to take out the tree all together! Since it had the same general shape plus a funky and fun vibe, our rental coordinator Erin suggested we replace the classic fur tree with a snazzy vintage ladder! For this particular set up we chose our 6′ Green Wooden Ladder and we happen to think it was a perfect fit! Keeping with the non-traditional theme, we picked a color palette that was far from the standard rich red and dark green. We chose ornaments colored in various shades of blue, turquoise, bright greens and silver. While that might might seem like a unique combination of holiday hues, we think they worked wonderfully and give off plenty of cheerful and festive winter vibes!
The other fun thing about choosing our 6′ Green Wooden Ladder is this “Tree” looks awesome at any angle!
Instead of the classic Angel or Star we opted to top this “Tree” with one of our pretty Geometric Copper Shapes . We love the modern and metallic touch this piece adds to the aesthetic!
We were also able to utilize different parts of our vintage ladder to hang ornaments at varying lengths with simple white string. So easy and so pretty!
To beef up the design a little bit we added a few of our favorite small-wares to the base of the ladder including our vintage Hy-Crest Crates and rustic Green Boxes. We also thought this was the perfect opportunity to accesorize with these super fun lime Green Glitter Trees! It’s like they were made to be paired with this ornament collection!
The overall look is just so much fun! This seasonal set-up would look awesome at any corporate or private holiday party, winter wedding or even a retail window display or santa village!
