Every once in a while we get the chance to work with clients who decide to throw tradition out the window and make their wedding day a real reflection of themselves. Buzz and Ellie did exactly that and then some! This adventurous and fun-loving couple teamed up with Colleen Miller Events to create a Charlottesville wedding celebration that rose to new heights…literally! Talk about a breathtaking ceremony design! Charlottesville’s Montalto boasts some serious historic cred and also provides phenomenal views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. As if those traits didn’t make this ceremony spot special enough, this also happens to be the place where the bride’s parents first met! It’s hard to get more sentimental and special than that folks.
We absolutely adore this “in the round” ceremony seating design that incorporates dozens of our Mismatched Wooden Chairs!

Buzz and Ellie took a cue from some of their favorite music festivals and crafted their entire wedding weekend around that inspiration. The “Conover Wisley Wedding Festival” was complete with concert tees, live bands, flower crowns and confetti cannons!

A pair of our Homestead Chalkboard Bars were a functional and fun addition to the tented reception space. The couple added a their own music-inspired artwork to give the bars a festival feel!
Our Heritage Farm Table can be used for dining or as a display piece! Using bar-height-legs, this table served as a lovely spot to show off sentimental family photos. And bonus, guests didn’t have to bend down and squint to see them! Our White Moroccan Lanterns also made wonderful accent pieces on each end of the table.

We love this little vignette nestled under the shade of a large oak tree. Our Beaufort Settee, Atwood Rug, Dickenson Rug and Ball & Claw Coffee Table help create this comfy little hideaway for wedding guests.

Our White Pine Benches work wonderfully as casual seating alongside the dance floor!
Our Mismatched Wooden Chairs and Aperture Wooden Cocktail Tables were a great addition to this casual reception space. Who wouldn’t want to sip on a craft brew and take in this sunset?
