If there’s one thing that our friends in this wild and wonderful wedding industry have it’s heart! Alex and Laura’s gorgeous wedding is just one example of how big that heart can be! When we first heard the folks at A Wedding Collective were organizing a giveaway, we knew we had to be involved! There were so many beautiful couples that entered this giveaway, we have no doubt it was hard to choose just one! But Alex and Laura shared their story back in January and it’s one we believe many of you can relate to. Not long ago Laura sadly lost her father to cancer. And not long after that the disease would change her world again. This time her fiancé Alex was diagnosed. After months of treatments and hospital visits Alex got the good news that his cancer was in remission! Unfortunately the seemingly endless medical bills piled up and the couple’s wedding fund was quickly depleted. Enter the wedding giveaway! More than a dozen wedding vendors worked together to plan and style this romantic affair and gifted more than $40,000 of services all in an effort to make this deserving couple’s wedding day dreams come true! Each vendor who participated in this project did so with joy and compassion. From ceremony seating to the reception bar we were honored to provide several pretty pieces for this wedding!
