If you thought the outside was beautiful, just wait! Let’s move inside to the ballroom, a blank canvas for a ceremony or reception space! An elegant option for your ceremony, especially for those colder months like this December wedding.
This sandstone fireplace is going to be the center of attention! We love how this ceremony backdrop was styled with our Trio of Arched Windows. Can you believe that these windows stand 7 feet tall with our risers and still don’t meet the top of this fireplace mantle? This fireplace definitely makes a statement for any event!
And once the ceremony is over, the fireplace can be transitioned to the perfect backdrop for your wedding cake!

The fireplace is not only a great option for your ceremony backdrop but also the perfect addition to a lounge! We love how the fireplace inspired this cozy lounge! The warm hues from the Bethany, Bisbee‘s, and Tallahassee chars were the perfect compliment to the roaring fire!
The golden hues from the Tallahassee were the perfect accent color with the grand floral arrangements.

The open grounds area out back offer plenty of space for a large display! We love how the Round Arbor with Shelves was used for this handsome bar display.

Everyone loves champagne! Our Classic Stained Wooden Shelving is another great option for creating a statement moment during your event. Guests grabbed a glass of bubbly on their way to cocktail hour!

The outdoor space isn’t just for cocktail hour though. The ceremony options are endless are Dover Hall! The Reflecting Pool and Blue Stone Terrace are some of the most popular spaces! You cannot beat the natural backdrop that this venue has to offer! Our Hexagon Arbor was a breathtaking option for this outdoor ceremony.
The Blue Stone Terrace is a great alternative option for enjoying cocktail hours outdoors! We are so fortunate with the weather in Virginia, who wouldn’t want to be outside?! The Homestead Chalkboard Bar is always a fun addition to any event! We wish we were enjoying a cocktail on the terrace right about now!
